The design of the workplace can have profound effects on employee productivity and well-being. As we typically spend more than one-third of our lives at work, any improvement in workplace quality is to be welcomed.
Our role is not only to create visually stimulating environments but to consider how we experience space using all our senses. With this in mind we place the greatest emphasis on acoustics so that our workplaces not only look great but also sound great. Most importantly workplaces need to be designed to support the activities being undertaken and this is why it is critical to carry out in-depth research at the briefing stage to fully understand how organisations operate. As we are constantly trying to improve our service we have developed an on-line tool which we use to gauge employee views on our design solutions, post completion.
