The design reflects the latest thinking in innovative workplace design based around task orientated spaces and flexible work stations. Staff are encouraged to select the spaces which best suit their needs including the specifically designed ‘collaboration’ and ‘focus’ areas which are designed to promote team working and improve performance.
The intentionally open and inviting design is a response to CBRE’s philosophy of ‘openness’ where clients and visitors are encouraged to come in and use facilities such as wi-fi and to enjoy a cup a coffee. It is created to showcase for their new way of working based on 100% non-assigned desking.
Results of our 6 month post occupation survey were remarkably positive. The stand out figures showed that 97% of respondents believed their new workplace enhances their productivity, 100% thought it expressed the company philosophy and 97% agreed that it was an enjoyable place to work.
